Background:

A $TART $MART Campus Workshop teaches young women (and men) how to benchmark the salary for the job they want once they graduate from college, and how to negotiate for the salary they deserve for that job. The following responsibilities need to be accepted by both parties in order to produce a successful workshop.

1. Appoint a Campus Contact, that is, the person who serves as the lead contact to work with The WAGE Project. If additional campus or community programs do participate, the Campus Contact will provide WAGE with the names and contact information for each participating group. WAGE encourages the formation of multiple sponsors and involving students to expand participation in a workshop.

WAGE may request permission to have an additional interested party attend a workshop. The campus may use its discretion in deciding whether or not to accommodate such a request.

3. The Campus Contact will be responsible for determining the job title and job location appropriate for their students and work with WAGE to customize the $TART $MART workshop to that title.

6. The Campus Contact will be responsible for reproducing sufficient copies of the $TART $MART workbook and role play scripts for each participant.
