Sandra, Electro Switch Employee - MA

Sandra was employed by Electro Switch for approximately sixteen and one half years. She was a hard-working, competent, and loyal employee who had received twenty-two merit raises during her career. She was terminated from her position and replaced by a male with only five and one half years experience with the company. Her replacement also received about $60 more per week than Sandra on the date he received her job. Although Sandra did not have direct evidence that she was terminated because she is a woman, the jury inferred that her sex was the basis for her termination.
